Trusted Area Rug Cleaning & Oriental Rug Cleaning Services in Studio City, CA
Rugs Hold Your Best Memories. Let Us Keep Them Beautiful.
Have you ever sat on the floor with a cup of coffee, a good book, or a giggling baby? Chances are there was a rug beneath you, holding that memory quietly. At Scripts Rug Cleaning in Studio City, California we believe your rugs deserve the same attention as the rest of your home. We clean area rugs and oriental rugs by hand with skill, patience and love for the craft. All of our rugs are cleaned and returned soft, fresh and ready to continue their lives.
Every Thread Has a Story to Tell
Rugs are more than rugs. They are wedding gifts, heirlooms, souvenirs from a trip abroad or the centerpiece of your favorite room. Some rugs are machine made from synthetic fibers while others are handmade from silk and wool. All rugs however collect pet hair, spills, foot traffic and dust over time. If these elements go unattended they will dull the color and degrade the fibers. We gently remove these elements while preserving the character that makes your rug unique.
Our Area Cleaning Process, Scene by Scene
Each rug we work with follows the same careful process. First each rug is carefully examined and evaluated for age, dye performance, fiber type and any issues. Then a thorough dusting removes soil at the base of the fibers, where most rug damage starts. Next the rug is hand washed with solutions carefully tailored to the fibers of your rug. The water is then thoroughly rinsed and the rug is carefully air dried to help maintain color and fringe integrity. No step is rushed and no step is treated as standard.
Rugs We Are Proud to Care For
Studio City is a vibrant neighborhood and so are the rugs that reside in this neighborhood. Some rugs we frequently do area rug cleaning with include:
• Oriental rugs (Persian, Turkish and others)
• Cotton, wool and silk area rugs
• Modern shag and designer rugs
• Antique and vintage heirloom rugs
• Heavily used family rugs and pet stained rugs
Why Neighbors Choose Scripts Rug Cleaning
We are trusted because we treat rugs like our own. We inform our customers of what we observe prior to treatment and we are honest about what can and cannot be restored. We never offer area rug cleaning services that you do not need. We know that a rug in a studio in a bright Studio City bungalow will face different issues than a rug in a busy hillside house with three dogs. Therefore we customize our cleaning to meet the lifestyle of our customers. You will always be speaking with a real person who listens, answers questions and follows through.
The Little Details We Never Skip
Fringes are cleaned by hand to maintain fringe integrity and color. Colors are tested prior to cleaning to maintain the integrity of delicate dyes. Wear, loose threads and odors are evaluated on every rug and anything notable is shared with our customer so they can make informed decisions about the long term care of their rugs.
